Hey everybody!
I just wanted to hi and that I am happy to be part of the writing team for this blog. This is such a cool idea. I can’t see the camp’s official website because of the program that was used to build it but everyone can see a blog. I heard that this blog already gets more daily views than Seminole’s official website and its been up just over a week.
Man, that drum circle was fun last night! I’ve been waiting for something fun like that to happen here for years. Its been a long time since I’ve seen that many young women here for anything. The hottest thing we’ve had here has been line dancing which is a great exercise for people with one foot in the grave but I am looking for more upbeat. There is a large young population in this area we should be tapping into for other functions but I don’t know how the Seminole can pull them in with expensive day fees. I don’t understand the point of keeping prices high when this place is empty. Seminole isn’t paying anyone that helps with a function. The people who live here are the ones that come up with the idea, plan it and do all the work involved with the before and after details, for free. Seminole virtually died over the last few years under the last management. It really burns my ass that we have so much potential here and the only people who are trying to get things happening are Sequoia and Hawk. Those are some great kids. They have done a lot to make things look and feel better here.
Sequoia is a real trooper for not taking her slip and fall to a lawyer even though it gave her a nasty scar in a very visible place. I remember that night.
