Good vibes still emanating from the last event
It feels really good when you put a lot of planning into an event and it comes together in a really positive way.
I’m really proud of how the drum circle and bon fire event came together. We had good hotel room sales, the bar made money and the people of this property gathered around the communal fire to make music and celebrate uninhibited freedom.
It took a long time to try and convince the former management, the owner, the current management and some of the residents that a drum circle here would be a good idea. Religious superstition and fear were two of the major issues we had come up. But at the end of the day the community came together, as communities should, volunteered their time towards a collective cause to raise money towards keeping Seminole a nudist property.
Drum circles and bon fires are two ancient collective gatherings that humanity has been using for thousands of years. The circle is a great shape for people to gather in because no one person holds the power, symbolically, everyone is equal. Circles are feminine shapes and are a real representation of the natural flow of life. Drums, the primal rhythm beats through your body, like one united heart beat of the people. Drumming and music of all sorts invites people to dance, which I certainly engaged in and enjoyed the safe haven to be able to express myself by dancing topless. Our ancestors used bonfires as the meeting place, to discuss ideas, tell stories or just party, like we did at Seminole the other night.
We started this blog as a collective to portray what its like to live in a real nudist community, for two reasons: 1. to promote the community in a truthful way and 2. to portray what its like to live in a real nudist community.
Thanks for visiting and reading. Feel free to drop by during our next event and feel the love.
