Island party at Seminole Nudist Resort.
Last night was one of those nights where we (permanent residents) ended up on the island around a fire after a potluck dinner and a few drinks. It’s so quiet here now that the Canadians went home and there are just a few permanent residents left. We had the grill going with all kinds of meats and there was pasta and for dessert there was green tomato pie. Don’t comment until you’ve had some. It was good.
We talked about how we were going to get the old spirit of the camp back up and have good times with new people now that we don’t have the same restrictions on us. The drum circle is a great place to start because it is to attract the crowd of people who are active, care about the environment and like to do more than sit still, drink and smoke. We are hoping to get people in that would like to help beautify the place and that takes people who have some energy. I just turned 51 April 18th and I would like to have some creative people to do what I call “land art” with while I still feel energetic.
The island is in the middle of the pond and has a little bridge that goes to it. It’s just big enough for a comfortable group of people with picnic tables and a fire pit. I’ve been bronging in water plants and they are taking to grow and we have loads of fish and birds. Island parties may become our new thing. The East side of the camp is wide open and would be a good spot for more permanent residents to live and it’s just East of the island. There is a big trailer for sale in that area.
We’ll have something happening on the island this weekend. Not sure what but I would think it will involve good food, good drinks and something fun. Maybe a barbecue and daiquiri party. That sounds nice. I think I’ll pass the word.
The other thing we talked about was the need for Winter managers. I thought we should put the word out now that we are looking for mellow, friendly, easy going people for that position. I gathered a lot of E mail addresses before the Canadians left so I could give them updates on the camp. I would like to tell them that this coming Winter will be a great time and the island parties will be something for them to look forward to.

About Hawk: Hawk spends most of his days in the dirt trying to beautify naked ghettos. |

Sounds and looks like a nice little place, if I lived there I’d have a heart to heart with Patrick and try and get him to see that if something is unique it has little or no competition, plus the people who want to choose the path that maintains that are prepared to work for pretty much nothing but joy. Seems like all you have to do is present that uniqueness and your vision to the world and that will naturally result in more visitors/bookings and money for Patrick
Seminole looks nice and cosy, advertising it as a swanky resort reminds of the lapland scam in England Lol http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/7758112.stm which incidentally was set in some really beautiful woodland, so fuck father Christmas I’d go there ti see that
