Living at Seminole Nudist Resort

Seminole Nudist Resort Drum Circle/Bonfire in Davie, Florida The Seminole Nudist Resort in Davie, Florida will be hosting our very first drum circle/bon fire event on Saturday May 2, 2009 from 7 pm – 1 am.

We ask only for a $5 Love Donation. Drummers, dancers, bohemians, free spirits, open-minded folks and especially all local naturists/nudists are welcome. Come gather around a communal fire with likeminded folks.

We’ll be holding the event on our very own island located in the middle of the park’s pond. We now have a liquor license and there will be a dockside bar set up next to the circle.

Seminole Nudist Resort is a clothing optional campground that has been operating as a naturist community for over 40 years. The property consists of ten acres and about twenty permanent residents at this time. Our facilities include a pool, hot tube, tennis courts and a recreational room. We also have hotel rooms and nature cabins for rent.

The Naturist/Nudist movement and philosophy dates its beginnings back to Germany in the early twentieth century when its citizens were trying to get away from a quickly industrializing culture to commune with nature. There are many reasons why people enjoy clothing optional locations and events but mostly its about freedom to be yourself outside the confines of clothing and fashion. Seminole is a clothing optional facility which means its an option to go nude but not an obligatory policy. The main policy is comfort for yourself and those around you.

For safety reasons and because there are younger residents and visitors to Seminole we perform sex offender background checks on all visitors. There is no exception to this policy. Please bring a photo I.D. with you to the drum circle.
